YouView is a hybrid television platform in the United Kingdom, developed by a partnership of three telecommunications operators and four broadcasters.

Sunit is a full-time Operations Director focused on the leadership of people, solution delivery, operations and transformation. He has 25 years’ B2B/B2C experience in the broadcast media, hybrid TV, SVOD, quad-play telecoms, and retail sectors. He is articulate in operating model design, business strategy and process improvement as part of significant transformation, business pivot, high growth scale-up, or new technology initiatives. Currently, Sunit leads operations at YouView having prepared and built the capabilities for launch of the start-up product suite, followed by full in-life platform operations that is continually flexible, scalable and efficient. Prior to YouView he managed transformation and post-M&A integration at Channel Five, TalkTalk and The Carphone Warehouse. This has involved a practical application of best-practice methodologies, techniques and frameworks to evaluate, establish, mature and evolve technology functions contributing to sustainable business growth plans. Sunit contributes to strategic thinking and hands-on leadership to drive the purpose, commercial goals and growth plans of organisations. He achieves this by delivering sound business processes, systems and technologies which create the opportunity to increase commercial revenue, reduce the costs of business operations, improve consumer experience, and improve service levels and productivity against success targets. He advocates the use of clearly defined control, tracking, monitoring and quality techniques to deliver business change that realises benefits for shareholders, internal-customers and end-consumers. Sunit rapidly gains familiarity with core IT systems and how they support business operations and enable change.
