I am a French lawyer and commenced work with the Parfums CHRISTIAN DIOR initially as a junior lawyer. In 1986 I looked for a new challenge and was appointed as legal counsel within the consumer electronics business, dedicated to the Pay TV activities, to the IP section and to the newly created licensing entity and was promoted to Deputy General Counsel, Europe for Thomson Multimedia, heading up a team of several lawyers. I then moved to the CANAL group in 1996 to accompany the launch of the digital bouquet of CANAL + and created with three other persons CANAL + Technologies to continue to develop, protect and license the CANAL + technologies worldwide. I headed up a team of 12 lawyers and patent attorneys located in Europe and in the US. I am is currently EVP ,General Counsel and Security for viaccess-orca, a 100 % affiliate of Orange dedicated to content protection and cloud computing technologies. I am Vice- President of AAPA ( Audio Visual Anti Piracy Association, former AEPOC).
