At the Boston Foundation, I am working to advance the missions of Greater Boston's nonprofits and create a vibrant Boston where people of all backgrounds can thrive. I rejoined the Foundation after three years exploring the future of organizations using online communities at the Community Roundtable, where I oversaw research into how for-profit and nonprofit organizations use online customer and employee communities to improve collaboration, customer service, innovation and more. Previously, at the Boston Foundation, I oversaw media relations and social media for the Foundation. Before that, I managed broadcast editorial production and special projects for more than a decade, before moving to digital and social media, where I led NECN's effort to establish and grow its video-driven website, as well as working with and training dozens of broadcast professionals in digital and social media best practices. Responsibilities included developing and implementing the NECN digital strategy, developing promotional and brand strategies for NECN.com on social media channels and integrating NECN's digital and broadcast .com promotions. In addition, I worked to develop numerous online contests, microsites and other promotions to support client initiatives on NECN and NECN.com for news and non-news programming.
