Senior Strategic Sourcing Manager

The Department of Education and Training (DET) offers learning and development support, services and resources for all Victorians, from birth through to adulthood.

With over 25 years of senior management experience in both the private and public sectors, I have developed and honed the skills and knowledge required to be a senior procurement professional. My current strategic and procurement experience within Telstra, and my past experiences at The University of Melbourne, together with my global experience acquired through my time at Amcor/PaperlinX have enabled me to develop a range of specific and broad skills required to fill a range of senior procurement roles. I have extensive strategic, operational, sourcing and procurement management experience throughout my professional life and am familiar with the challenges and rewards that result from transformational changes within large and complex organisations. My experiences throughout my career have exposed me to many different opportunities and situations including dealing with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders, formulating and developing business plans, global sourcing, strategic planning, initiating and implementing major transformational organisational change, leading and managing staff, managing the strategic sourcing process from end to end and many other organisational roles and responsibilities. Maintaining my skills and knowledge is important to me and I am a Full Member of CIPSA (MCIPS) and have a Bachelor of Business through Monash University and a Graduate Certificate through The University of Melbourne.
